Wingfield Primary School wins two awards for exceptional 2015 results!

Dear Parents/Carers,

We have been nationally recognised for exceptional 2015 performance by the Schools, Students and Teachers network (SSAT).  Educational outcomes data analysis from SSAT has led to our school being given two awards:

• SSAT National Award for Children's Attainment: children's attainment at KS2 in Reading, Writing and Maths is in the top 20%of all schools nationally

• SSAT National Award for Children's Progress: children's progress at KS2 in Reading, Writing and Maths is in the top 10%of all schools nationally

Sue Williamson, Chief Executive of SSAT said:

‘It’s my great pleasure to commend Wingfield Primary School on their excellent 2015 performance.  I have the privilege of visiting a lot of schools and I am always impressed by the creativity of teachers in engaging and inspiring their students.  I hope that SSAT’s educational outcomes award will highlight the professionalism, commitment and hard work of the leaders, teachers and students at Wingfield Primary School.  Recognising and sharing successes like this is at the heart of SSAT’s mission, so I’m delighted to congratulate Wingfield Primary School on their achievement.’

We're proud to achieve these two awards because it recognises the incredible achievements of children and adults at our school where we're building a community focused on the learner: child and adult.

Kind regards,

Ross Silcock
